Em & May. Em & May is a women-owned and women-ran swim and lounge-wear brand with a strong focus on sustainability and ethical practices. Sustainability is at the core of each and every component of the business including the type of fabrics that are used, where they are sourced, packaging and sewing supplies which are all carefully and eco-consciously sourced. We are thrilled to be working with them to bring you some Shelter X Em & May swim options this summer season. All garments are designed, cut and sewn in their Montreal studio by their small team of 5 talented women. Each step of the production process passes through the hands of each of our team members ensuring the high quality standards. The result is an eco-friendly luxurious swim garment.
All of their swim SOLIDS are made with ECONYL® a
regenerated Nylon that is made from recycled yarn. It is
ultra-chlorine, sun cream and oil resistant, and maintains
its shape with proper care. It is also certied Standard 100
by Oeko-Tex®. The
elastic used in the swim pieces are also Oeko-Tex®
certified.
